Design & Interior Supervision
The last ten percent decides how a space feels.
Aya Nakamura
Joined from a design role at a housing manufacturer. Supervises finishes on residential projects.

My Work
I supervise the finishes on residential projects. From preparing the finishes schedule through specification discussions with manufacturers to checking the work on site.
Why I Like This Work
I get to confirm for myself that detail decides the impression of a space. Care about the quality of what people touch and the reaction of the people living there genuinely changes.
How I’ve Changed
I pay attention to the numbers now. Once I could treat cost constraints as a given rather than an enemy, my proposals became more persuasive.
What’s Next
I want to work on projects where I am involved with the material itself. Not just choosing from a catalogue, but developing something with the people who make it.
